Pia Wurtzbach, who hosted the 2018 Binibining Pilipinas coronation night with Richard Gutierrez on Sunday, turned the Araneta Coliseum into a concert venue during an hour-long break as the judges deliberated.
The former Miss Universe titleholder took it upon herself to entertain the live audience with an impromptu number as she sang "Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang."
She drew laughter, loud cheers and a round of applause as she sang both the melody and the second voice of the OPM hit.
In the end, she said in jest, "Wow, 'Tawag ng Tanghalan' sa 'Showtime.' Ano pong score, 100 for effort?”

The Binibining Pilipinas coronation night saw Catriona Gray bag the Miss Universe Philippines 2018 crown, beating 39 other contestants.
Gray was also awarded the Pitoy Moreno Best in National Costume Award, Miss Ever Bilena, Jag Denim Queen, Best in Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown.
She succeeds Rachel Peters, who made it to the Top 10 of Miss Universe 2017. Many are hoping that she will bring home the Philippines’ fourth crown after Wurtzbach in 2015, Margie Moran in 1973, and Gloria Diaz in 1969.
