Pia's and Catriona's gowns were iconic in their own right, since they were what the queens were wearing when they were crowned Miss Universe in 2015 and 2018, respectively.

Rabiya just dazzled audiences during the 69th Miss Universe preliminary competition on Saturday.
She strutted her stuff in a yellow two-piece bikini during the swimsuit competition, and glided down the stage in a yellow Furne One piece during the evening gown competition.
The fashion designer said the gown was inspired by "the radiance of the Philippine sun which symbolizes positivity and optimism."
For the National Costume Competition, she wore a gown with the blue color representing royalty, red for the courage and strength of an independent woman, and yellow for the color of the sun and stars.
