The stage is set for the 2023 Shakey’s Super League National Invitationals.
Twelve teams from the top collegiate leagues nationwide will see action in the national tournament featuring the future of Philippine volleyball. It will kick off on Saturday, July 29, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
Through the league, players will get a rare chance to battle each other on a national level and hone their skills on the court.
Leading this season’s cast are UAAP champions De La Salle University Lady Spikers and NCAA titlists College of Saint Benilde.
Also joining are Adamson University, University of Santo Tomas, Lyceum of the Philippines University, University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, De La Salle University - Dasmariñas, and Enderun Colleges.
Joining from Cebu are University of San Jose - Recoletos and University of Southern Philippines, while teams from Mindanao include Notre Dame of Dadiangas University and Jose Maria College Foundation of Davao City.
Schools were divided into four pools with three teams each, competing in a single round-robin format. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the knockout quarterfinals.
The games will be aired on CNN Philippines.
