Catriona Gray displays Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao in Miss Universe nat’l costume

Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray had the country's three major island groups represented in the national costume competition in the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand.





According to Catriona's video posted on the pageant blog normannorman.com, the costume included hand-made brass accessories from Mindanao, a printed bodysuit from the Visayas and the colorful headpiece from Luzon.



Pictures shared on Facebook by fashion designer Benj Leguiab IV showed Catriona showing off the costume which also had the Philippine flag at the center of the headpiece that also depicted historic and tourist spots in the country. —NB, GMA News
